Best for backpackers!

The atmosphere of the place, we have met a lot of friends there. There is free rum and coke everyday for half an hour for everyone. Staff was nice and helpful. Thank you Brandon for organising for us amazing trip!

The people

The tend no is a tend.It is a bed with a mosquito net in a corridor next to a bathroom that smells bad... much noise, do not respect your rest... I paid 3 nights but finally only I stayed 2, the last night I went to another hostel and was the best decision.

Only for emergency budget

The owner and family are nice but they could do a better job at the flat. Being a backpacker doesn't mean pay to sleep between spiders nets. Each bed has own fan which is very helpful. I would not stay there again.

The room doesn't have any maintenance. Not sheets. Cockroaches and spiders around. Only one decent share shower. Other outside covered with a improvised curtain. The general cleaning should be improved.

The Flat is home from far away.

The Flat is home from far away. Kuya Brandon the owner treated us like family. All other aspects are very good (esp. the location which is near to affordable but quality restaurants); including the people around the hostel. In total I had a great stay at the Flat/Hub, highly recommended.

You get what you paid. Read this before booking!

The owner is really nice and friendly. He tells you that you get what you pay. He has the cheapest price in town for ferry to El nido. You get a personal fan Bed was comfortable Still I had bad experience staying there

You need to know that you get what you pay, you pay for the cheapest bed in Coron and you get flat in bad condition. There are people who are fine with that, for me it was really bad. - The room is really small, there is no space between beds and its hot. - No blanket - Dirty and filthy - when I got to the room a dead rat in front of the door. The owner swiped it, but after couple of hours there was another dead rat. Spiderwebs inside the room, bad smell. - Toilet was clogged up - Shower is with a bucket - The way to the flat is dirty and smell bad

Brendon ,the boss ,is a down to the earth guy, the bunk room ,as being said ,is one of the cheapest accommodation in coron town , so you can’t expect a 5star hotel out of it ! free rum n coke everyday at 0630-0700pm,you might get all your money back just for the free rum n coke!

Drinking water available, plus free rum-o’clock 6:30-7, good recommendations of tours from Brandon and a surprise free breakfast from Joy this am. I slept in the attic so had basically a private room with private fan and outlet!

Generally there’s quite a bit of work to be done in finishing details, and you need to time your showers if you don’t want to wait, but it has the basic essentials you need if you’re not a picky traveler!

the owner and his wife is really friendly. I personally didn't have time to visit many places but from other travelers I know they provide the best recommendations about booking tours and places to visit. and there is also a happy hour if you like drinking.

the hostel is actually a common bedroom turned into a hostel. if you are looking for luxury or at least, confidence, it is not a place for you to stay. suitable for laid back people who travel on a budget

Like locals

This is a very basic hostel, but very complet. Is super cheap so dont expect find all the confis. For us the most imporant thing it was the pepole who runned the place, so nice, they make you feel like home. Brandom is always helping and explaning things to do or the best way to discoverd coron. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Zelt gebucht. Da es die Nächte davor viel geregnet hat, hat uns der Gastgeber eine andere Unterkunft empfohlen. Das war sehr zuvorkommend von ihm. Außerdem hat er uns in den wenigen Minuten die wir dort waren viele nützliche Tipps gegeben.

„Preis/Leistung passt: für Anspruchslose, mit ausgezeichneten Möglichkeiten Menschen kennenzulernen

Ganz oben und wirklich hoch lebenswert zu erwähnen ist das soziale Umfeld. Der Besitzer der Unterkunft versteht es Leute zusammenzuführen. Der Besitzer und seine Frau sind sehr sympathisch - die Tochter zuckersüß. Bei Anreise erhält man eine ziemlich ausführliche Einweisung zu Coron. Generell ist der Eigentümer offen für alle Fragen. Trotz der vielen Mängel habe ich niemanden mit schlechter Laune abreisen sehen. Sogar aufgrund Überbuchungen abgewiesene Leute traf man regelmäßig in der Unterkunft wieder an. Der Preis ist derzeit unschlagbar.

Ganz ehrlich: Ich habe lange überlegt diese Bewertung abzugeben. Am Ende finde ich es aber nur fair. Man wird mir die Bewertung krumm nehmen, aber sie soll als Anregung dienen. Aber unterm Strich gibt es in der Unterkunft noch richtig viel zu tun! Ich bin mir sicher, dass wissen die Verantwortlichen auch. Es ist ein Hostel mit Potential, aber dieses muss erst noch abgerufen werden. Meine Bewertung wäre auch noch schlechter ausgefallen, wenn ich an den letzten Tagen nicht einen Einheimischen erste Arbeiten vollrichten sehen hätte. Die Toiletten sind wirklich nur von Personen nutzbar, die nicht pingelig sind. Wasser gibt es häufig nicht. Toilettendeckel könnten mal montiert werden. Toilettenpapier gibt es auch oft nicht. Und die Toilette des Flats wird handgespült. Prinzipiell wird diese Toilette aber nur selten von den Leuten genutzt. Im Notfall halt. Für mich ein Fall der Generalüberholung. Die Toilette im Hauptgebäude ist besser, aber auch da gelten die eben genannten Punkte, nur das dort häufiger Toilettenpapier ist und die Spülung benutzbar ist, sobald Wasser fließt. Eigentlich nutzen alle diese Toilette. Im Raum des Flat Hostels befindet sich kein W-LAN. Das W-LAN im Hauptgebäude ist oftmals nicht zu gebrauchen. Dies ist aber auch nicht unüblich auf Palawan. Dennoch ist die Angabe in der Beschreibung schlicht falsch. Während meines Aufenthalts sind nicht Wenige wieder abgewiesen wurden, weil das Hostels schlicht überbucht war. Da der Besitzer aber meint, dass er bald besseres Internet im Hauptgebäude hat, ändert sich die Situation vielleicht kurzfristig. Jedoch können wir davon ausgehen, dass die abgewiesenen Leute hier keine Bewertung abgegeben haben. Das Bilder mit dem drei Liegen nebeneinander entspricht dem Raum des Flats. Das Bild vom 4-Bett-Zimmer gehört einem anderem Hostel, welches aber auch zu der Anlage gehört.

Se dan instancias para conocer otros mochileros, como por ejemplo la media hora gratis de ron entre 18.30 y 19.00 donde se juntan todos en un ambiente muy agradable. Ademas Brandon nos ayudo en todas nuestras dudas y nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones para conocer la isla

No me gustó la forma, el lugar, el trato, este es el peor hostal en el que me he alojado en los siete meses que llevo viajando, no lo recomiendo para nada, es barato pero no vale la pena por 50 pesos más se pueden quedar en un hostal de verdad..

El ambiente que se genera y la amabilidad del dueño, el free rum and coke, y que se puede usar la cocina. El dorm no es muy lindo pero es funcional y tiene un baño

Solo Una ducha, cuando Brandon no estaba por unos días y quedó a cargo su señora, tuvimos un inconveniente que no pudo reservar la van al aeropuerto informándonos a las 10 pm!, sin darnos soluciones, sin embargo tras nosotros proponer llamar al número particular de la agencia (donde compramos vuelos) resultó

Не ожидала, что хозяином хостела будет мужчина из Канады. Это меня очень удивило и порадовало. В хостеле я встретила замечательных ребят, с которыми провели отлично время. Брэндон и его жена помогали нам на протяжении всего путешествия. Отличная цена за проживания для ребят с рюкзаком за спиной.

Нет горячей воды, но в этом городе горячая вода есть только в горячих источниках, так что, это никак не повлияло на моё путешествие.
